Install the WordPress plugin for a WooCommerce store, or the free module for PrestaShop, and connect it with an API key from your workspace. Both sync customers who opted in to marketing, along with order summary fields such as order count and order total.
Running Shopify? We are onboarding the first stores manually while the public app is in progress — request access and we will set up the sync for you. Anything else connects through Zapier, a webhook or the REST API.
Synced to each contact
Build a segment
Match contacts where
Order count is greater than 1
AND last order total is at least $50
AND last order date is more than 60 days ago
Not every buyer is the same buyer
Order count, order total and last-order fields synced from your store become ordinary custom fields on the contact. Combine them with list membership and campaign engagement in nested AND/OR groups, and see a live count before you save.
Before you lose them
PrestaShop stores get abandoned-cart recovery out of the box: the module can trigger a Sendtim automation a chosen delay after a cart is left, and checks that the order has not already gone through before sending.
For any store, set up a win-back flow for customers who have gone quiet: check engagement or last-order date, send a short message, and remove or suppress the ones who still do not come back.
Example automation
Right offer, right inbox
Announce a sale, a restock or a new collection with the visual email editor, then send it to a segment instead of your whole list: recent buyers of a category, big spenders, or everyone except last week’s customers.
24 hours only: 20% off everything.
Scheduled to send to contacts who opened your last three campaigns.
Back in stock, just for you.
Sent to the segment that bought the previous version.
Connect the AI assistant you already use and ask it to turn your sale details or new product into a campaign draft, aimed at the segment you choose. Review it in the editor and approve the send yourself.
Whatever you sell
Different stores, different rhythms. Segment and automate around yours.
Announce new collections, restocks and seasonal sales to buyers who shop by category.
Time replenishment reminders to how long a product typically lasts, and reward repeat buyers.
Keep subscribers engaged between deliveries and recover a lapsed subscription before it cancels.
Confirm a purchase instantly, then cross-sell a related product a few days later.
Your first week
Ecommerce email marketing works best once your store data is in Sendtim and your first segment is built. That usually takes less than an afternoon.
Read the getting started guideInstall the WooCommerce plugin or the PrestaShop module, or request Shopify access. Verify customers are syncing before moving on.
Add your domain and publish the DKIM, SPF and DMARC records. Live sending is refused until it is verified.
Start simple: recent buyers, or anyone who has not ordered in 60 days. Check the live count before you save it.
Write a one-off promotion for a segment, or set up a win-back automation that runs on its own from here.
Ecommerce email marketing uses your store’s customer and order data to send targeted campaigns and automations: order confirmations and follow-ups, abandoned-cart recovery, win-back messages for lapsed buyers, and promotions aimed at the segment most likely to act on them, instead of one email to everyone.
WooCommerce through the Sendtim WordPress plugin, and PrestaShop through a free module, both syncing opted-in customers and order summaries. Shopify is in early access while the public app is prepared — request access and we onboard your store manually. Any other platform connects through Zapier, webhooks or the REST API.
Yes for PrestaShop stores today: the free module can trigger a Sendtim automation after a chosen delay when a cart is left and the order is not completed. For WooCommerce, Shopify and custom stores, send the cart or order event to Sendtim through the API or a Zapier webhook, then start an automation when that contact enters a segment.
Yes. Order count, order total and last-order fields synced from your store become custom fields on the contact, and segments support nested rules over them, alongside list membership and campaign engagement. Build a segment for first-time buyers, big spenders or anyone quiet for 60 days.
Yes. Export your opted-in customers as a CSV with their order history in custom columns, map them to contact fields on import, and Sendtim preserves consent status and skips anyone suppressed. Connect your store afterward to keep the data current.
